Assisting Adult Immigrants

Many migrants who arrive at the U.S. border are fleeing violence in their home countries. The trauma of fleeing their homes and experiencing dangers along their journey to the U.S. is often compounded by a years-long legal process to determine whether they can remain in this country. These adults often need counseling and other supports to recover from their experiences.

In partnership with Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area (LSSNCA), enCircle is part of a network of organizations that helps support immigrants during this time of uncertainty. Our bilingual counselors help them heal from trauma and prepare mentally and emotionally for their immigration hearing.
